Is PropGuard allowed by prop firms?
PropGuard never opens trades — it only monitors and (if you enable it) closes your own positions to protect you. Risk-management tools of this kind are generally permitted, but rules vary by firm and change over time. Always verify against your firm's current terms; we maintain a per-firm compatibility list.
Do you need my account password or API access?
No. PropGuard is an EA that runs inside your own MT4 terminal on your own machine or VPS. Nothing leaves your terminal except the optional behavioral log for the AI debrief, and only if you turn that on.
Will the force-flatten fire by accident?
Force-flatten is off by default and only triggers at the danger threshold (default 90% of your firm's limit — configurable). Alerts start at 50%, so you'll have had two escalating warnings long before anything is closed.
Why can't I see or edit the EA's strategy parameters?
Two reasons, both in your favor. First, the parameter set is the strategy — the exact values are the result of extensive research, and exposing them would give the algorithm away. Second, most blown accounts come from mis-configured inputs; by shipping a sealed, tested preset, what runs on your chart is exactly what we validated. You still control the safety knobs: risk per trade, lot mode, magic number, and notifications.
How does crypto payment work? Is there auto-renewal?
You pay with USDT or USDC (TRC-20 or ERC-20) for a fixed term — 1, 3, or 12 months. Payment confirms on-chain within minutes and your license key is emailed automatically. There is no auto-charge: we email you before the term ends so you can renew if you want.
How is the "free via IB" tier really free?
When you trade under our partner broker through our invitation link, the broker shares a small portion of the spread you already pay with us (an Introducing Broker rebate). It costs you nothing beyond your normal spread. That rebate funds the free licenses — which means our interest is aligned with yours: we only earn if you keep trading, so we're motivated to keep you disciplined and in the game, not churning through challenges.
Why buy EAs here instead of MQL5?

My firm uses a different daily reset time. Supported?
Yes — the rollover offset is configurable, and firm presets ship with the correct server-time settings for FTMO, FundedNext, and The5ers. More presets are added on request.
MT5 support?
MT4 first, MT5 next on the roadmap. Solo/Pro subscribers get the MT5 version at no extra cost when it ships.
