News Straddle is a high-impact-event straddle on XAUUSD M15. About two minutes before a scheduled event it anchors a floating BuyStop and SellStop around price, so the data spike - not ordinary drift - triggers the entry, then a tight trailing stop locks in the move.

Only one event trades at a time; Friday auto-flattening and a floating drawdown circuit breaker cap risk. The verified 2021-2026 backtest shows +20,746 net on a $10k account, profit factor 4.38, across 284 trades, with max drawdown 571 (5.7% of balance).

  • Anchors a floating BuyStop/SellStop around price ~2 min before a high-impact event (Fri 15:30 / Wed 21:00 server time by default).
  • One event at a time; OCO cancel; tight trailing stop after entry.
  • Friday auto-flatten + floating-DD circuit breaker; sealed core, PropGuard-ready, 2-terminal license.
News spreads and slippage are extreme around events - live results can differ sharply from backtest. Use an ECN account, cap risk at 0.5%-1% per event, and run on a VPS. Verified backtest uses the Exness XAUUSDm feed, 2021-2026; the economic calendar is unavailable inside the MT5 tester, so the backtest trades a fixed weekly event schedule (not the live calendar).

What do I get after purchase?
