Grid Recovery
Overview
Grid Recovery is an averaging-grid EA for EURUSD H1. It opens a starter position in the direction of a detected short-term edge, then layers additional orders on the losing side at predefined intervals. The basket closes as soon as the combined positions reach a target profit.
This is a classic recovery archetype, not a trend-follower. It can produce smooth equity curves for long stretches, but adverse sustained moves can lead to large floating drawdowns. Size it conservatively, run it on a dedicated account, and never combine it with other grid EAs on the same balance.
Verified backtest — $10,000 account, EURUSDm H1: over the last 1 year (2025-08-01 → 2026-07-31) it returned +$1,426.82 across 481 trades at a 2.62 profit factor, with a $46.86 maximum drawdown. Over the last 3 years (2023-08-01 → 2026-07-31) it returned +$447.59 across 426 trades at a 1.23 profit factor, with a $1,095.90 maximum drawdown. What do I get after purchase?
