Ratio Trend folgt dem Trend des Gold/Silber-Verhältnisses: wenn die EMA des Verhältnisses trendet, fährt er ein dollar-neutrales Paar — Long auf das starke Bein, Short auf das schwache. An den XAUUSD-H4-Chart gehängt, handelt er automatisch beide Beine.
Er ist das Spiegelbild von Gold-Silver StatArb (das auf Ratio-Rückkehr setzt): StatArb gewinnt, wenn das Verhältnis zum Mittelwert zurückkehrt, Ratio Trend gewinnt, wenn es sich ausdehnt. Beide haben negativ korrelierte Renditeströme und sind natürliche Portfolio-Partner. Ratio steigt = Gold stark / Silber schwach -> Long Gold, Short Silber; ausgerichteter Nominalbetrag = marktneutral, Gewinn durch relative Stärke, nicht Richtung.
